You need to find or create one of the hottest products you can sell online today. You can try looking at Amazon’s list of best selling products or eBay’s Top Products to give you ideas of what are the best products to sell online. If these products are selling well on Amazon or eBay, it means that there is significant demand for it (though of course, that also means a lot of competition).
If you do not wish to start an ecommerce store, one of the best alternatives is to sell “how-to” informational product. Whether you have an expertise or not, it’s easy to find or create a 50+ page “how-to” manual that will sell like wildfire on the Internet. You can begin your quest for an informational product to sell by joining an affiliate program. Or package your informational product into a Kindle ebook to sell in Amazon’s Kindle store.

Once you have the above components working for you, you’ll need to create and promote what’s called an email newsletter. This dandy little tool helps to bring in additional profits, month after month, year in and year out. And it’s very simple to create and promote. Big businesses use emails extensively to keep their customers engaged and buy from their store again and again.
Take for example the high-end retailer Nordstrom and how they use email marketing: Nordstrom uses email to showcase and feature their existing brands; to highlight a trend; to announce a time-sensitive special deal; to drum up interests in their sale events; to feature a product category; to inform on benefits of loyalty programs; to announce upcoming and new brands; or even to alert about outages. If your business run a blog or other types of information content, you can create a newsletter email or ezine to keep your subscribers informed.
