Finding a website that affords
ease in navigation, offers a multitude of information (pertinent to
business) and assists with the new economy issues are important factors
in returning to the site time after time. These reasons are why my
favorite site is PowerHomeBiz.com
It is a comprehensive source
of various business tools for small business and provides relevant
information needed to support business endeavors, articles that relate
specifically to home-based and small business issues, book and magazine
reviews, e-commerce guidess, success stories and small business news
and much more.
The new economy sections are
incredible sources for your home-based business sector, We are planning
to use this site to start a home-based business coalition in the Simi
Valley Chamber. Walking through the "Home-Based Business
Guide" section of the site goes from starting a small business and
the challenges of, to equipment purchases, franchising, and the 21
Steps to home business success. Additionally, it gives the other side--i.e.,avoiding
the pitfalls, top 10 mistakes, overcoming the isolation of working
solo, and family and the home business.
I especially like the success
tips and advice page in the PowerHomeBiz web site. In the CEO's column
in our monthly newsletter, I write about the items of interest to our
membership, such as customer service, marketing tidbits, business
principles, etc. I usually find interesting articles in this section
that would be useful information for our members, which I expand on and
express in my own words.
The site also features
excellent discussion forums, where you can seek solutions to business
problems, share your expertise, give your opinions or share bright
ideas with other business people.
And finally, the PowerHomeBiz
site even has a leadership and management section for personal growth
and personal development. There you can find ten to twelve articles
about goals, generation of ideas, measuring success, other people's
journeys in business and in life. I could go on and on.
I find myself going into this
site often to find answers to questions about the new economy and keep
abreast of the emergence of this rapidly growing industry, I think
their slogan says it all: Making Small Business Do Big Business.
