Q.
I am writing as I am hoping to
start my own business soon as a freelance Paralegal. Do you have any articles,

Dear Wendy:
Opening a paralegal business is basically the same as opening any other
small business. You must consult with an attorney and an income tax
professional to set your business up correctly - following the federal, state
and local guidelines of your area and business. PowerHomeBiz.com has many,
many useful articles on how to set up a business and what you need to be aware
of, as well as how to help you market your business.
As for specializing as a Paralegal, I am going to assume you have the
credentialing and/or license to do such. It would also be wise of you to
consult with your business insurance agent to purchase an umbrella policy,
maybe even some malpractice insurance.
As for sites and articles, check out www.nolo.com
