A. Dear
Shawn,
You have a great idea and I know it will work because I had a friend who
did just exactly what you are thinking. And it worked.
Actually, if you have a good amount of capital, you can go for it by
yourself. You can rent space in a mall or any place where you think the
customers will easily find you. The space must be good enough to accommodate
the area that you need for the hair and beauty salon. Somewhere in a corner,
you place your rack for the clothes that you want to sell. This rack or hanger
must be always visible to your customers whether they are facing the mirror or
not. Then place your waiting area very near this corner to allow customers to
look at the merchandise while they are waiting for their turn.
Also, you will need a small fitting room but I suggest that you don't
install a big sized mirror inside. You should ask those who try the clothes to
come out and look at the fit at the waiting area mirror. This will allow the
waiting customers to see those who are trying the clothes on and that will
give them the clue that you have these clothes available for sale.
Soon, it will be automatic for all your customers to come to your place and
possibly buy your clothes.
Now, if you don't have enough capital, you can invite some fashion
designers or store owners to consign their goods at your shop or join you as a
partner. So many ways to do it.
Since you just presented this idea without a question, I suppose you just
want us to confirm that you have a good idea. Of course.
Go for it.
Good luck
