Dear Irene::
Thank you for your question. The best place to begin is by researching the
market. Start by searching the Internet and the yellow pages to see if there
are similar business out there. If there are, then write down what makes your
business different from the rest. I am sure that you will bring something
different to the marketplace. If you find that the market is truly flooded,
then what service is not being provided today? What you end up with may look
different than what you originally thought, but you may stumble across
something that will be very profitable.
The next thing to review is your expenses. Can you start the business right
away with the cash you have on hand, or will you need to wait? What is your
credit card limit, can you secure a bank loan, or will family and friends help
you get started?
If you believe that this is where you should be, then go with your heart
and make it happen. In life we never get all the answers first, but we do get
them along the way.
Good luck!
