The reason why we allot a space at home to serve as an office because we want to keep track of our work in the comfort of our own living space. In regard to this, we can even get more practical by reusing some of our office supplies like that of writing on the back part of a printed paper to minimize our paper waste. Aside from that, we can get more organized if put our files and supplies in shelves or drawers and label them.

And here I thought that you were talking about my smile in my profile pic :o(.

Sorry, but I have a strict policy about spammers -- e.g. those who come and comment with the sole purpose of dropping their links. I may put up your comment, but without your links. I only allow links if you actually have something of value to say about the post.

Your smile is as significant as any piece of clothing you put on. Folks observe your smile 1st and foremost. A fabulous smile could be all need to have to design that impression you've worked so tough to produce.

Thanks. There were years when I only filed maybe 4-5 times the whole year. I just shoved everything in our overhead letter slots! It's a good thing I have space to shove the papers in, but that practice was definitely not ideal. You really need to spend time at least every weekend to do your filing, otherwise it can simply overcome you

Nice quick coverage of how to organize an office. It IS hard to keep up with all the papers. Bookcases and binders are also a good way to go. I'm glad you have several filing cabinets - if my file drawers get too full I dislike trying to shove another folder in. And you're right - keeping on top of organizing is the key.
