How to Provide Excellent Service

May 29, 2008 by Isabel Isidro · 1 Comment

According to Bob Livingston, author of the book “How Do You Do … What Do You Do,” excellent service is

“… all about finding ways to make the other person you are serving feel good about your product or service, your company and themselves because they feel good about dealing with you.”

He offers what he calls a roadmap on how to provide “service excellence.” Read about his approach in the article “Service Excellence: How Do You Do … What Do You Do”

5 TIPS OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Here are a few tips I learned from a book regarding customer service:

    1. Building Customer Loyalty – know the customer by his full name
    2. Provide Real Customer Service – recognizing their individual needs
    3. The Customer Is Always Right
    5. Be Honest with Your Customers
    5. Educate Your Staff To Be Equally As Concerned About Your Customers As You Are

Remember, if you aren’t taking care of your customers, your competition will.
