Business Idea: Passion Parties
I've met a lot of women (even men) who have made comfortable, if not fantastic, income from direct selling. From Avon to Mary Kay to Tupperware, direct selling is a low-cost business that anyone can start from the comfort of their homes.
So I find the article over at MSNBC "Tupperware parties with a twist" very interesting, not so much as to the products being sold but the enthusiastic response these types of parties are attracting. The author is even surprised at the multi-generational participation of women in these parties. Apparently, there is demand in America for these types of products sold in a more open, mainstream way (as against going into sleazy stores or websites online).

I have tried several direct sales, MLM businesses over the years, but for the past 8 years I have been doing Passion Parties and I can completely agree that these parties generate excitement, fun, change relationships, increase pleasure for women and men and are just a great girls night in.
I actually left my job as a Registered Nurse 3 years ago to Passion Parties full time. Our company is growing every day. People LOVE the products and the idea that trained consultants can give them some fun tips, tricks, ideas, and even a business opportunity that can change their life...it sure changed mine!

I have to agree with Darlene. I am a Passion Parties consultant as well. My story is a bit different though. I had been in a very successful position as a Creative Director for a Pharmaceutical Marketing company. Was there for 14 years, once the company was sold I got laid off,(while on maternity leave I might add!) I decided then not to go back to corporate life. I had tried other direct sales companies in the past but Passion Parties by far has been the most lucrative for me. In just 9 short months I was able to reach the status of Executive Director with the company. I make great money at my parties, and also earn residual income from my team. I won't ever go back to corporate life. Being able to have fun while I work and manage my own schedule is something I can never give up!
