Entrepreneur Success Story: Alison Leibeskind

We’re featuring over at Women Home Business Alison Liebeskind, founder and creative force behind the fashion knitwear Alison Beth Company. Alison was able to successfully use her passion for textiles into a thriving business in a cut-throat industry, and her creations have been featured in numerous fashion spreads.

Regarding apparel entrepreneurship, that’s what I do. I have loads of success stories, I should do more of these profiles. Some of my designers are doing over 50 million a year now. Pretty exciting stuff.

I’ve tried to contact your organization with regard to supplying specific content (since that’s *all* I do) but have gotten nowhere. In spite of my 27 years in the apparel industry (heavy production experience) and 15 years of working with entrepreneurs, there doesn’t seem to be any interest from your organization. If you’re only interested in hearing from people who’ve made it (versus those of us who help them make it), there’s lots to cull from amongst my readership. I try to be even handed and help everybody whether they’ve made it or not.

I was also an econ major (eco development).
