MCOMS has announced the opening of admissions to their MBBS degree, for the academic year commencing February 2009. To be eligible for this programme, a minimum aggregate of 50% at the 10+2 or equivalent examination is required. The candidate should be above 17 years of age. There is no entrance Examination for non-Nepalese students.

Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS), Nepal, established in 1994 is a result of collaboration between Manipal Group and the Government of Nepal. Affiliated to the Kathmandu University, MCOMS is recognized across the world, for its high standards of excellence. MCOMS provides a five and a half years MBBS degree course (4 ½ years plus 1 year Internship) and postgraduate courses in all the basic science subjects and selected clinical subjects.

The college is listed in the 7th edition of the WHO’s world directory of accredited medical schools and the International Medical Education Directory of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) which holds the United States Medical Licensing Exam.
