American Profit Recovery, a collection agency based in Michigan and
Massachusetts offered their entire team the option to buy casual dress
during Mondays of the summer months. That money raised was then donated to
the charities of their choice. A total of $630.00 was raised for nine
different charities.

The charities included: The Brain Tumor Foundation, The Junior League of
Boston, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Wildlife Alliance, Marlborough MA
Food Pantry, Special Olympics South Carolina, Muscular Dystrophy
Association, The Nature Conservancy and the St. Jude Tribute Program.
“We do realize this is not a large amount of money but it does get our
employees thinking about what is important in our lives as well as helping
others,” stated Jeff DiMatteo partner at American Profit Recovery. “This
program is just a small part of our annual community relations efforts.
Collection agencies like any other business need to do their part to help
the greater good and help others in tough times and good times. We have
always took pride in being different in the way we do business at all levels
and will continue to find ways to help businesses recover money and help
people in need.”

raise other funds for breast cancer charities. During three different Making
Strides Against Breast Cancer walks across the country, the collection
agency and its staff raised over $5,000. They continue to raise money during
the month of October with an aggressive sales promotion with current and
potential clients.
