Expansion required an international operation ERP Solution MEIKO decided in 2007 to search for a new solution, because their implemented business software was not able to cope with the international expansion. Decisive factors were considered like international adaptability of the new software, flexibility, release compatibility and the investment security of the provider. As the software selection came to a close there was a clear vote in favor of abas ERP and their supporting partner, the ABAS Projektierung GmbH in Germany, the country of MEIKO’s headquaters.

International implementation methodology, references, and the partner network clinched the deal

The availability of a tested international implementation methodology which ensures that the requirements of the MEIKO headquarters will be implemented worldwide, was an important criterion. From Offenburg to the world Initially the abas Business Software will be implemented at the MEIKO headquarters in Offenburg. It is planned that the software will go live for all of the four hundred concurrent users in Germany, at the beginning of 2010. Shortly after this, the ERP solution will be implemented at the MEIKO locations in the USA, China, India, Australia, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, France and Austria.
