With the pre-registration deadline of December 1, 2008 quickly approaching
for the European Union’s new regulation for Registration, Evaluation,
Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), organizations are

SAP estimates that an average chemical company will manage 15,000
compliance projects in the next several years and another study by
PricewaterhouseCoopers indicates that many chemical companies may miss the
December 1, 2008 REACH pre-registration deadline. The enterprise-wide
coordination of compliance activities can be difficult to manage and many
companies remain uncertain about the type of technology commitment required
to achieve compliance. SAP’s recognition of leading REACH Compliance
implementation partners alleviates concerns about qualifications needed to
implement the REACH Compliance solution successfully.
