announce details of the MaeTec Power Preventative Battery Labor and
Maintenance Program. Under this program, customers would receive quarterly
battery maintenance and replacement labor for one reduced fixed yearly price
for the life of each battery string. Traditionally, customers pay separate
costs for labor in addition to a maintenance plan. Customers under this plan
will also receive secure web access to all of their site reports,
complimentary yearly DC equipment audits, project management, and reduced DC
power related costs.

“Customers already pay thousands of dollars for battery installation &
replacement labor where no further maintenance is provided. With our plan,
customers essentially receive the battery labor and maintenance services for
the same price they are already paying for the labor alone. This, coupled
with the additional features we can bring to the table may actually extend
the life of each battery as well.”
When optioned, most typical paid for battery maintenance plans cover
annual maintenance visits, but not the initial labor costs for battery
installation. Typical maintenance plans also do not cover replacement costs
for old batteries or cell replacement labor after the warranty has expired.
MaeTec Power’s preventative maintenance plan covers all labor for the life
of the battery, including the installation of new batteries once the battery
life has expired and requires replacement. This is attractive in heading off
budget spikes when planning for replacement costs due to the need for new
batteries. The quarterly preventative maintenance plan also includes
optional reduced cost load testing and grounding audits.
