Haier Launches Unique New Refrigerator Models in India  

New range includes Haier French Door BMR with progressive Dual technology and new models in the Empress series

Strengthens its product offerings with additional benefits for the Indian consumer.

October 19, 2008 ( PowerHomeBiz ) - New Delhi, India -- Haier, one of the largest Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances brand across the globe, today announced the launch of a whole new range of refrigerators in the Indian market. The new range includes the new and innovative 'Dual Tech' refrigerator enhancing its French Door side by side BMR range. 3 new models in its range of top mount Empress Series.

The leader of the pack is the Dual Tech Refrigerator which is a unique combination that brings together a pioneering technology and integrates it to a French door, side-by-side Bottom-Mounted Refrigerator(BMR). The highlight of this futuristic Refrigerator is the unique feature called the Convertible "Freezer to Refrigerator" Compartment. This cutting edge technology instills the refrigerator with the ability to convert the Freezer compartment to a normal Refrigerator Compartment with the touch of a button. This feature gives a modern household’s unprecedented flexibility in terms of usage of the given space either as a freezer or as a regular fridge compartment according to the requirement at any particular period of time.

For example a consumer can convert refrigerator space to freezer space to prepare for holiday entertaining. In case of a party you can increase the refrigerator capacity to store the leftovers when the party is over. The refrigerator has VC fresh technology to ensure freshness for a longer time. ROHS compliance makes it eco-friendly and apt for all Indian homes. This 779 ltrs new model, HRB 703 MP/S is available in steel finish and is priced at Rs. 144990/- in the Indian market.

Existing Empress series gets 3 new members in its family. TRIMAX is a 3 door, 270 Ltrs Frost Free model that gives an all new experience to the consumer with its great looks andexclusive features. Initially the launch of this model has been planned in 6 cities only. In addition to this 2 new models were launched in the Empress Series in 330 & 440 ltrs capacity. The entire range is priced in a bracket of Rs. 27990 to Rs.43790. All the new models come packed with Energy Class “A” rating.

The new and innovative range of refrigerators represents Haier’s efforts to be continuously innovative and introduce new cutting edge technologies for the consumers in the Indian market from time to time. The interiors of the refrigerator are expansive with the Blue Tinted Spill proof Glass Shelves providing space and improved storage options to easily accommodate large containers, wide and huge food items like cakes, jars etc. The Dual air curtain cooling and Multi-route air passage enable this cutting edge technology to freeze food quickly and prevent nutrition loss.
