World's First Drupal plus Shindig OpenSocial compatible platform at the Web
2.0 Expo in New York this month. Impetus, the Pioneers in Outsourced Product
Development, will showcase these and other OpenSocial technologies created
to simplify and expand a Web 2.0 world through easier interaction with
friends and colleagues.

Zest is the first and only Drupal-based Shindig implementation and is
canned modular extensible community platform designed to identify and
connect users to multiple social networking applications and services. Zeal
is the first and only Liferay-based Shindig implementation, Caja enabled,
and is also canned modular extensible community platform.
Both applications facilitate easy online user profiles which make
connecting to social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook, and LinkedIn
and integrating with online buddy lists, photo albums, email, scrapes, and
guest books a breeze. They provide customizable themes and skins, 3rd party
gadget integration and are OpenSocial 0.8 compliant and White Labeling
ready.
These applications were designed by Impetus' iLabs (Innovation Labs)
group which is focused on providing Architecture and Design best practices
on a variety of emerging technologies and platforms including REST
framework; Web2.0 technologies including AJAX, Open Laszlo, RoR; and mobile
technologies including development, porting, and testing on iPhone, Android,
BREW, J2ME, WinMobile and Symbian.
