September 30, 2008 ( PowerHomeBiz ) - New Delhi, India  -- Delta India, a part of the 4.8 billion USD Delta Group will hold a day long seminar on’ Power Supply Efficiency Technology’ in Delhi and Bangalore. Dr. Milan Jovanovic, CTO Power System Business Group, Delta Electronics, Inc., Taiwan visits India to address the ‘Power efficiency issue’ at the seminar. The event will be attended by CIOs, CTOs, R&D and Engineering heads of power electronics and IT industry.

Dr. Milan with over 250 journals, has 31 patents on Power conversion technologies and has conducted 50 short courses on the subject will share insight on ‘The Efficiency challenge - Technology for Green power supplies’ and ‘Power Supply Technology- Past, Present and Future’.

The seminar will be held in Bangalore on October 1 (Hotel Leela) and Delhi on Oct 3 (Hotel Shangri-La). It will focus on addressing the issue of how technology for power systems of modern computer/telecom equipment will face extremely tough challenges due to continuous increase in power-density and efficiency requirements. During his visit, Dr. Jovanovic will also be addressing the students and members of education fraternity in a presentation at IIT Delhi on 29th Sep 2008
