Medium-sized businesses – a success story In a world which is constantly
becoming 'smaller', the ability to be innovative is the most important basis
for remaining internationally competitive in the future. Medium-sized
businesses are exactly those companies which show extreme dynamic and
creative potential which is especially required in these fast-moving times.
This innovative strength is notably increased through information and
communication technology. For companies and IT managers it is essential for
every business to know which IT solution options are out there, and how they
can be used profitably.
Source of inspiration and platform for the exchange of experience with IT
experts At the Customer Forum practice oriented workshops will show the
users of the abas Business Software "recipes" for their daily work. The
interaction of the function ranges, together with many useful information on
innovations and strategic developments of the abas Business Software, is the
main focus. Cooperation partners of ABAS Software AG and the software
partners will furthermore present the IT solutions in connection with the
abas Business Software.
Internationality & multilingualism One highlight of the abas Customer
Forum will be the workshop Internationality & multilingualism –
Functionality in practice. It will be shown how internationally active
businesses access data with different operating languages and how different
languages of correspondence are selected. You will also be informed about
country specifications, the function of dictionaries and how they are
exchanged between the installations.
From sales order to production to the end product A complete sales order
process in abas ERP will be shown – from the sales order to scheduling,
production and materials management. Innovations and new developments of
this area will be shown as well.
eLearning with abas ERP The abas eTrainer supports the transfer of
knowledge from ABAS to the users. Using an example, you will be shown how to
create tutorials and also the different modes, such as for example, the
practice and the test function. Through the re-recording function, tutorials
can be automatically adjusted to the customized ERP system in over 30
foreign languages without having to repeat the recording process.
Use your potential with abas eB abas eB enables an optimum interaction of
company-internal and company-external business processes. The focus of the
workshop will be on the area of vendor connection, service and sales, and
also company internal information acquisition and goods management.
The abas Portal as the Web platform The abas Portal supplements abas ERP
optimally. Besides being able to display abas ERP data, the abas Portal
basis - the Portal server, Liferay - also provides further interesting
options which will be informed about in the lecture. Examples are, for
example, the creation of an Internet presence with the portal or the sales
order related fusion of data.
Awaking potential in employees The guest speaker on the abas Customer
Forum "Trends 2009" will be Matthias Schaack from Gustav Käser International
GmbH. In his lecture he will show the potential of employees and how this
can be brought out and made use of. Matthias Schaack will also explain how
the personal attitude and the individual behavior of the employee is taken
into account during the development.
Useful information about the abas-Business-Software Many solutions by
abas partners and user reports round off the two-day congress. The range of
topics comprise modern Java interfaces in abas ERP, the effective sales
control via a solution integrated in the abas Business Software, the
complaint and service processing and much more. In the accompanying
exhibition users can talk about the workshop contents in more detail and
inform themselves about further cooperation solutions.
