Scott Chaney owner of CCC said, “For the Explorer Pod I wanted an off-road look detached from the “box” styling of the Explorer Box. From feedback we received, I replaced the shelved storage compartments with removable storage containers for easy moving of gear to your picnic table.

For improved off-pavement towing, I put together a “soft-ride” automotive grade suspension. This translates into no more broken bottles and other vibration related issues. As with the Explorer Box, it utilizes a rapid open, folding style, tent unit referred to as a rooftop tent.
