Climatarian - New Green Living Site Creates Online Community Dedicated To Stop Global Warming

A new website designed to be the biggest green search engine on the internet, climatarians.org, has been launched by a Dutch entrepreneur and is already creating pre-launch waves in the virtual world.

July 22, 2009 ( PowerHomeBiz.com ) - Netherland  - A new website designed to be the biggest green search engine on the internet, climatarians.org, has been launched by a Dutch entrepreneur and is already creating pre-launch waves in the virtual world.

The site is designed to create a green community online, and provide resources for those interested in sustainable living.

“Our site has a forum, wiki, and user blogs, making it easy for anyone with green ideas to communicate and share them with other members,” Hoogstrate explains.

Businesses can benefit from the directory listing offered on www.climatarians.org  and they can post articles and press releases in its knowledge base. In addition to this, business members can also benefit from the job board and the events board to find the right people as well as announce any events coming up to a global audience. A business can also use the Climatarians platform to find the right group to address and market its products. “Climatarians is right on the intersection of being a community and a search engine,” Hoogstrate explained.

“in the months to come the focus will be on making the website a dynamic and living thing where things happen.”

Hoogstrate believes that people can make a difference in minimizing climate change and global warming. “Green living requires a behavioral change, in what we do, where we buy things, and who we vote for...but often people don’t know where to start,” he explained. “Climatarians helps by finding green products and services (worldwide), exchange ideas, connect with other people and get inspired or letting others inspire you.”
