The portable light source, GAO Instruments' Model 20630007, includes
three wavelengths at two ports. The default 650nm red laser source
offers a 5km measurement distance. CW or 2Hz modulations are options for
the 650nm red laser source.CW or 270, 1K, 2kHz modulation are the
options available for the other two wavelengths.
This portable light source provides a continuous or modulated laser
output for the measurement of 1310/1550nm SM fiber or 850/1300nm MM fiber.
These portable light sources are also able to conduct fiber optic loss
measurements.
