June 2, 2008 ( PowerHomeBiz
) - Pinole, CA --
USA Women Business Owners (WBO) is an international 501c3 non-profit organization, founded in February 2004. WBO members have been providing local business groups around the country for several months now. Recently, some members of WBO have decided to start local WBO business chapters.
(news continued below)
Tashia Flucas is currently forming WBO Chapters in the Pinole and San
Francisco, California areas. “I wanted to create more networking with women
within the community. WBO has a great outlook and I share a vision that WBO
has of bringing women together. I will be holding 2 meetings – 1 in Pinole
and 1 in San Francisco. My hope in holding these networking meetings is to
build beneficial relationships and inspire women in their businesses – I
always say, “the sky’s the limit!” Tashia replied when asked why she decided
to become a WBO Chapter Leader.
Tashia will be starting her meetings in June. The first meeting for
Pinole is scheduled for 11:30am Wednesday, June 11 at the Pinole Library,
located at 2925 Pinole Valley Road, Pinole, CA 94564. Attendees are able to
purchase a light lunch during this meeting. For more information on the
Pinole meeting, please visit

The first San Francisco meeting will be a breakfast meeting and is
scheduled for 9:00am Friday, June 20 at the Mills Law Library, 220
Montgomery Street, 1^st Floor, San Francisco, CA 94104. The phone number is
415.781.2665 and their website is http://www.millslibrary.org For more information on the San Francisco

Members are allowed to attend 3 meetings free of charge. The format of
the meetings will consist of refreshments, sharing of WBO’s mission and
vision and how WBO can provide resources and assistance for women, a guest
speaker, and then time will be allotted for networking.
Tashia goes on to explain that the WBO meetings are different than other
group networking meetings in that the cost of the meeting and membership
with WBO is very affordable for women in business or women just starting
their businesses. WBO is building a support network for the woman and her
business. They offer member 2 member benefits, a referral program and many
other benefits for their members. WBO’s support is different from
industry-specific support – they focus on the woman behind the business, as
well as the business itself. WBO assists women to obtain resources they
wouldn’t be able to obtain independently.

WBO President and Founder, Anna Campbell says, “We are working on
providing buildings/office space for women to operate their businesses from.
WBO will be able to purchase vacant buildings in targeted cities with the
support of national and local contributions and donations. WBO will renovate
these buildings to accommodate a minimum of 10 office spaces, 1 boardroom,
and an open front area for a receptionist. (1 office space will be used for
a WBO Branch Office). We will rent out each space for $200-$1,000 (depending
on size of space) a month for return revenue. Each office will be equipped
with internet service, phone jack and one phone answering line.” WBO’s motto
is, “We are building businesses, one building at a time!”
Planned upcoming events for WBO include an online event, The JULY EXPO,
where women will learn, shop, laugh, and network in an online conference
room. Women from all walks of life will be joining together to grow their
