the funds will be used for providing material support to the affected
families.
According to Mr. Max Yang, CEO, Huawei India, “The huge loss of life and
property has struck a chord with many Huawei employees in India. We have
colleagues here in India who have friends and family back in China that are
affected by the earthquake and we decided that we would do all we could to
help in whatever way we possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with all
those affected by this earthquake”.
He adds, “The response from Huawei’s employees in India has been amazing
and we’re proud to have raised so much money in such a short period of time.
This contribution will add the growing world-wide support as there is a
large-scale need for support in terms of food, medicine and shelter.
