June 11, 2008 ( PowerHomeBiz
) - Nijmegen, Netherlands --
Economy-x-Talk has released a new version of the low-cost color conversion
tool Color Converter. "We started with a very tiny utility, with RAL-to-RGB
conversion only" says Mark Schonewille, head of Economy-x-Talk, "and I'm
really delighted to see how popular this program has become amongst amateurs
and professional graphical designers. We will certainly continue to add
color spaces and other features. Keep an eye on this, for we are really on
to something!".
(news continued below)
Color Converter calculates color values from a selected color space into
a number of other color spaces. Included are CMYK, HEX/HTML, HSV, RAL, RGB
and XYZ. The latest version, counting 1.3.1, displays an RGB-based
brightness value, along with the color encodings. Color Converter also has a
color picker, which allows you to get the color value of any pixel and any
window of any program on your screen.
Color Converter 1.3 can be downloaded from the Economy-x-Talk website.
The software is available for MS Windows XP and Vista, Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X
10.3 up to and including 10.5.2.
