Each new product or service nominated in The 2009 American Business
Awards will be included in people’s choice voting automatically. In
addition, the organizers have created special categories to celebrate
popular business and consumer products, such as:
- BlackBerry Storm and T-Mobile G1 with Google in “Favorite PDA/Smartphone”
category
- Apple iPod Touch and Roku Netflix Box in “Favorite Gadget”
category
- Pandora Radio and Wikipanion in “Favorite iPhone App” category
To encourage voting, organizers will award $1,000 Amazon.com gift cards
to two randomly chosen voters. Voters increase their chance of winning with
each category in which they vote. Participants can only cast one vote per
category and all votes are final. Voting concludes on June 1.
Winners of the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products
will be determined in early June and honored at the ABA’s seventh annual
awards gala in New York on June 22.
All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit entries
to The American Business Awards – public and private, for-profit and
non-profit, large and small. The final entry deadline is April 30. Entries
will be accepted in dozens of categories from Executive of the Year, Company
of the Year, and Best New Product or Service to Best Web Site and Best
Annual Report. For more information and entry details, visit:
