In the upcoming episode Janine works to help a single mom and her teenage daughter escape the burden of a heavy mortgage payment. Janine says, “I put a great deal of time into creating a look that would be attractive and inviting to buyers”.

Homeowner Leslie agrees and adds, “Janine gave me a whole new appreciation for my own things. She has such a creative eye and managed to place everything so that it looked new and fresh. It was so exciting to feel like I was living in a model home with all my own things. The house sold quickly, and that's because the staging really emphasized all the good qualities of the home while re-directing focus from the less desirable features. Leslie’s home received an offer within 10 days of being on the market.

This is the second appearance on the show for Janine. In November of 2007 she Staged a very large family home in North Raleigh. The house looked beautiful when fully staged and the results speak for themselves. Within 48 hours of listing the home, the realtor received an offer $20,000 higher than her estimate.

It has been a busy year for Janine whose talents have attracted names such as Toll Brothers and Fonville Morisey. She has been featured in numerous publications, including Cary Magazine, Triangle Home Improvement, Raleigh News and Observer and Triangle Business Journal New Homes. She recently joined the Fonville Morisey corporate training team to help educate realtors on how to use home Staging techniques.

Janine is most proud of the success achieved with her charity “Welcome Home” which provides a special homecoming for a serviceman and his family to show appreciation for their efforts in serving our country. Last December Janine assembled a team of colleagues, friends and vendors to “make-over” the home of Navy Corpsman Matthew Chutjian and his fiancé, teacher Melissa Markus. Janine says, “It was the highlight of my career, and I cannot wait to do it again.
