Each panel measures 2 ½ feet by 5 ½ feet..Solar Market/Sun Gen of Arundel, Maine installed the 110KW system for the George R. Roberts Company/The Step Guys facility in Alfred, Maine.

“It turns out, that our 20,000 sq. foot manufacturing plant that was constructed in the late 50’s was built facing southeasterly with an almost perfect roof pitch for optimal capture of the sun’s energy” remarked Tim Cook, president of George R. Roberts Company and The Step Guys.

To prove this point, Solar Market is currently finishing the installation of a large 50KW system, 288 solar panels, at their Arundel office.

This system provides electricity for not only the lights and operating equipment, but also for the heating and cooling of their large office building. “This is the best use of renewable, home-grown energy.
