Millie Shelton, a registered nurse and businesswomen, was searching
for a fashionable way to display her love for animals with her love for
fashionable jewelry. Unable to find what she was looking for, Millie decided
to create her own business, Barkie Bling Designs.
"As a woman interested in astrology and the meaning of birthstones, I
wanted to create something that would identify each pet with their zodiac
sign and personality. My design immediately identifies a pet’s personal
traits in a fashionable way. My design also gives women the option to
purchase a necklace to wear as a bracelet if they so choose, to compliment
their pet." Millie said.
Millie’s own pets inspire her designs. ‘’ For many women and empty
