The GEN2 RFID Wristband addresses the need for an on the wrist RFID tag
that has a generous read range especially suited for patient care and

silicone wristband technology, bringing performance and innovation that
allows new applications for patient care and tracking. Because the GEN 2
RFID Wristbands are made of silicone they are comfortable, non-allergenic
and hygienic.
Test results of the GEN 2 RFID Wristband were calculated using the Sirit
510 RFID reader. Read distances varied based on body type and ranged from a
maximum of 8.8 feet (2.7 meters) to a minimum of 4.2 feet (1.3 meters). The
average read distance during testing was 6.3 feet (1.9 meters).
The GEN2 RFID Wristband will go into production QII 2008. Contact GAO
