TrueLook and Nexus iSR Team Up To Aid in Remote Web Cam Viewing
The Nexus iSR “Hawk” device allows for TrueLook cameras to be placed in remote locations and still have Internet access.

February 2, 2008 ( PowerHomeBiz ) - Rochester, NY    ---   TrueLook and Nexus iSR, LLC are pleased to report TrueLook, a web cam management application, and Nexus iSR, manufacturer of the Nexus HawkTM, a state of the art portable, remote high speed data access device, have banded together to provide TrueLook cameras with Internet access. When cameras are in locations where traditional Internet connectivity isn’t available, Nexus Hawk creates an access point. This partnership is exemplified with TrueLook construction customers.

(news continued below)

The Nexus Hawk is a wireless network access gateway that provides Internet services where wired connections are not available. The Nexus Hawk creates a secure, digital communication network as a router, with the ability to link cellular, Wi-Fi and WAN networks together.

“The Nexus Hawk is a great tool for customers like TrueLook,” said Michael Franco, vice president and founder of Nexus iSR. “With Nexus Hawk’s ability to be located remotely, it helps companies like TrueLook who heavily rely on Internet services. This partnership with TrueLook is a great asset to both companies.”

With the Nexus Hawk, TrueLook is able to serve customers in remote locations, which is especially beneficial with construction customers. By providing the TrueLook cameras and software with the tool to be located in remote locations, construction site managers are able to keep track of progress and employee productivity. TrueLook users can send pictures from the camera to others via e-mail and time lapse view the progress of their site.

“When construction customers approach us for TrueLook software, one challenge we always face is the ability to connect to the Internet,” said Peter Quintas, executive vice president and general manager of TrueLook. “The Nexus Hawk has been an unbelievable help for us and gives us an added benefit to our customers. We look forward to continuing to the Nexus Hawk and TrueLook partnership.”
