Lawyers can choose a standard or premium listing on the searchable
directory. Search rankings within each type of listing are random in order
to treat lawyers equally. Unlike other lawyer sites, there are no photos,
endorsements, or "ratings" by friends or colleagues. "Choosing a lawyer
should not be a beauty or popularity contest" says Sochor.
The heart of Legalbeavers.com is the community forum which is open to
attorneys only and designed to be a professional tool for posting messages,
consulting, and referring cases, both within and across legal specialties
and geographic areas. As the legal beaver community grows, attorneys,
especially sole practitioners, will benefit from having access to the reach
