In business for several years, Accentuate Services, a company owned
and managed by freelance writer, editor and author Michelle L Devon,
recognized a need for a place where writers could come together to discuss
hot topics in the writing industry, debate grammar and editing techniques,
and learn to perfect and Accentuate their writing.

A year ago, Accentuate Writers, a free writing forum for writers of all
genres and styles of writing from freelance article writing and web content
to fiction and non-fiction books was launched. In the last year, the forum
has grown and membership has increased to a point that the needs of the
members outgrew the current forum configuration and format.
After searching and testing many different forum designs, and taking the
feedback and suggestions from the current forum members, Accentuate Services
launched a new XMB powered writing forum this month. The new forum allows
for user avatars, posting stats, the ability to see all recent posts made
that day, and a rotating banner to feature the top contributors and writers
on the board – not to mention the new smiley package that many of the
members are having fun playing with!
Michelle L Devon, CEO and owner of the company that manages the forum,
says, “So many of the forums and groups on the internet that I have
participated in really provide great information, but there’s much
negativity and discontent. I wanted a free forum where writers of all
experience levels could come and receive encouragement, helps, friendship
and more-a place to lift writers up, not tear them down.”
The new Accentuate Writers Forum has seventeen (17) different main forum
topics, with addition sub-categories and topics for all styles of writing,
from fiction, non-fiction, web content, and even a start a story/finish a
story short story collaboration forum just for fun. There are also
legitimate paying leads for freelance writers in the Paying Writing Jobs
forum, listing verified paying writing leads for both print and online
publications.
